My name is Sulene Taylor. My manipulated photographic artworks are primarily about the theme #themindisahouse. The aim with my work is to portray what I think about and what I choose to put into my mind.
Hiking and crafting are part of my relaxation, and they have an influence on how I construct my thought palace. The concept of decorating our thinking, i.e. renewing our mind, is of particular interest to me. Different people will fill this space with a diversity of alternative features. Each person will diverge from another on how they choose to allow outside influences to shape their intellectual, emotional and spiritual areas.
In practise, I take photos or screenshots of my life as well as buildings or sections thereof which I engage with. These images then get digitally fused and altered to offer an artwork of a possible thought process.
